Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Aura Edit ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of the Aura Edit iOS application (the "App") and the Aura Edit website at https://aurae.com (together, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

Aura Edit is an AI photo-editing app that transforms a photo you select using either a curated preset or a written prompt you provide. Available presets, features, and prices may change over time as we improve the Service. We may add, modify, or remove functionality without prior notice, except where notice is required by applicable law.

You retain ownership of the photos and prompts you submit ("User Content"). You are responsible for making sure that you own your User Content or otherwise have all necessary rights and permissions to submit and edit it, including the informed consent of any recognizable person appearing in an image.

You grant Aura Edit a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your User Content solely as necessary to deliver the edit you requested and the resulting output to you. We do not claim any broader promotional rights, and we do not use your User Content to train AI models.

AI-generated outputs can be inaccurate, unexpected, offensive, non-unique, or similar to results produced for other users. We do not guarantee identity preservation, realism, physical appearance, suitability for any purpose, fitness for a particular use, or legal ownership of any output. You are responsible for reviewing every output carefully before publishing, sharing, or otherwise relying on it, and for complying with all laws that apply to how you use it.

You may not use the Service to:

• violate any applicable law or regulation;
• generate sexual, nude, or sexually suggestive imagery;
• create sexualized depictions of minors, in any form;
• produce non-consensual intimate imagery;
• generate gore, graphic violence, or bodily waste;
• create hateful, harassing, or extremist material;
• defame, harass, or infringe the rights of others;
• deceptively impersonate a real person;
• commit fraud or facilitate deception;
• upload images of people who have not consented to being edited;
• bypass, disable, or interfere with security measures, rate limits, content safeguards, or the intended operation of the Service;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service; or
• abuse the Service, including automated or high-volume access.

Aura Edit may offer weekly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions to Aura Pro. The localized price, billing period, and any introductory offer are shown before you confirm the purchase inside the App and again by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless canceled through Apple at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless Apple states otherwise. Apple handles all billing, renewal, and refund processes, and Apple's rules apply to any price change and consent requirement. You can restore eligible purchases at any time using Restore Purchases in the App, signed in with the same Apple Account used for the original purchase. We do not promise any free trial.

The Aura Edit software, branding, wordmarks, logos, page and screen layouts, preset definitions, and other original materials remain the property of Aura Edit or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right in our brand or software except the limited right to use the Service as expressly permitted.

We may apply reasonable limits to keep the Service running smoothly, and we may change or discontinue features and presets. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in abusive or unlawful behavior, or created security or safety risks for other users, the Service, or third parties. Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice.

Use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade. This section does not limit or exclude any mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aura Edit and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including non-waivable consumer protections.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Aura Edit, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. This governing-law choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
