How can we help?

Find answers to common questions about creating edits, saving results, and managing Aura Pro.

  • How do I create an edit?

Open a preset from the home screen or tap Create, then choose a photo from your library. Add a written prompt if you want more control over the result, and tap generate to start the edit. When it's ready, review the before and after and save or share.
  • What photos work best?

Clear, well-lit JPG or PNG images with the main subject clearly visible tend to produce the strongest results. Very small, blurry, heavily edited, or crowded compositions may produce less predictable output.
  • Why does Aura Edit need photo-library access?

Permission is used so you can pick a photo from your library and, optionally, save results back to it. Aura Edit does not scan your entire library — only the photo you choose is submitted when you request an edit.
  • How do I save or share a result?

Tap Save to add the result to your photo library, or use the system share sheet to send it to another app. You can also enable automatic saving in settings so completed edits are added to your library without an extra tap.
  • Why did generation fail?

    • Check that your device has a stable internet connection.
    • Try again with a supported JPG or PNG photo.
    • Shorten a very long prompt and retry.
    • Wait a few minutes and try again if you may have reached a temporary generation limit.
  • How do I restore Aura Pro?

Open the Aura Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account you used to buy the original subscription.
  • How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Aura Edit, and follow Apple's cancellation options. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • How do I delete local app data?

In the app, open Settings → Delete All Data. This clears local preferences, edit state, and the app cache on your device. It does not remove photos you have already saved to your photo library, cancel Apple purchase records, or automatically erase data retained by our processors. For broader deletion requests, contact hello@aurae.com.
  • What content is not allowed?

Aura Edit may not be used to create sexual or nude content, sexualized depictions of minors, non-consensual intimate content, graphic violence, gore, bodily waste, hateful or extremist material, fraud, harassment, or unlawful impersonation. Uploaded photos must show only people who have consented to being edited.
